A.
Use: LaHabra Pro-Tect is an opaque and non-flammable liquid treatment used to protect stucco, masonry, and mature concrete from water.
B. Advantages:
Pro-Tect repels water from properly-prepared surfaces and improves stain resistance,
as opposed to untreated surfaces.

Storage
Store
under cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight. Properly
stored LaHabra Pro-Tect has a shelf life of one (1) year.
Coverage
Approximate
coverage per 5 gallon (18.9 liter) pail, when applied according to manufacturer's recommendations:
- Over
very porous surfaces: 75 to 125 ft² (7.0 - 11.6 m²) per gallon (3.8 liters)
- Over
moderately porous surfaces: 125 to 150 ft² (11.6 - 13.9 m²) per gallon (3.8 liters)
- Over
dense surfaces: 150 to 175 ft² (13.9 - 16.3 m²) per gallon (3.8 liters)
Job
Procedure
1. Condition of Base:
- Surface to be treated must be clean and dry.
- Surfaces containing portland cement products must be fully cured
prior to application of Pro-Tect.
2. Mixing:
Product is packaged ready to use. Do not dilute.
3. Application:
- Apply
to properly prepared base by brush or low-pressure tank
sprayer. Apply liberally, with generous overlapping. (See Cautions and Limitations - Below)
- If
two coats are required, allow a minimum of two hours drying
time before applying the second coat.
4. Material
Standards
- VOC less than 50 grams (.11 lb.) per liter.
Cautions
and Limitations
A.
Do NOT use for basement of underground masonry. Under hydrostatic
pressure, water might penetrate treated surface.
B. Before
applying Pro-Tect, test on a small obscure section
of job and obtain color approval. This will prevent unwanted change in color.
C. Inhaling vapors may cause irritation and or pain to the
nose and throat. Swallowing substantial amounts may cause irritation, injury or diarrhea. Skin contact may
cause irritation and redness. Eye contact may cause severe redness, burns and possible permanent damage.
D. Use of proper protective
equipment is required to protect against ingestion, inhalation
or other contact when handling or applying this product.
E. FIRST
AID
- INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air.
- INGESTION: If material is swallowed, give two glasses of water and induce
vomiting by touching a finger to back of victim's throat.
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING ON AN UNCONSCIOUS VICTIM. Keep victim's
head below hips while vomiting. Obtain medical advice.
- SKIN CONTACT: Flush with plenty of water. Wash with soap and
water.
- EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least
15 minutes while forcibly holding eyelids apart. Obtain
medical advice.
